Kevin Giovesi (JD Motorsport), Alberto
Cerqui (Ombra Racing) ed il canadese
Tyler Dueck (BVM-Target) decimo in ri-
monta dalla 20esima posizione in gri-
glia nella gara di debutto in categoria.
Una bella rimonta la segna invece in
gara 1 il monegasco Stephane Richel-
mi (Lucidi Motors), quarto al traguardo
dopo essere partito 12esimo ed al ter-
mine di una lotta ai ferri corti con An-
drea Caldarelli (Prema
Powerteam).
GARA 1 HIGHLIGHTS
In gara 1 la pole position
è di Chaves, ma quando
si spengono le luci rosse
è Mancinelli a portarsi al
comando, mentre Cam-
pana e Ramos si acco-
dano in terza e quarta
posizione. Proprio il pilo-
ta brasiliano è scatenato,
tenta subito un sorpasso
su Chaves, ma finisce per
danneggiare irrimedia-
bilmente la sospensione.
Campana deve invece
allargare la traiettoria
scivolando ottavo. Alle
spalle di Mancinelli si porta così Krohn
davanti a Chaves, Buttarelli, Liberati,
Zanella ed il duo Campana e Richel-
mi che hanno la meglio su Caldarelli.
Campana è il più determinato ed in
due tornate riesce a superare Libera-
ti e poi Zanella per il quinto posto. Al
settimo giro si accende la lotta per la
seconda posizione con Krohn costret-
to a gestire nella sua scia un gruppo
tenth after a strong comeback by the
20th place on the grid of his first race
in Formula 3. A beautiful comeback is
also marked in Race 1 by Stephane
Richelmi (Lucidi Motors), who finished
fourth after starting 12th and being
at loggerheads with Andrea Caldarelli
(Prema Powerteam).
RACE 1 HIGHLIGHTS
In Race 1 Chaves is in pole position,
but, when the red lights are turned off,
it’s Mancinelli to take the lead, while
Campana and Ramos are in third and
fourth positions. Just the Brazilian is
totally unchained, he tries to overtake
Chaves, but he damages the suspen-
sion permanently. Campana is forced
to expand his lines, drifting eighth.
Behind Mancinelli so it’s Krohn Chaves,
Buttarelli, Liberati, Zanella and the duo
Campana and Richelmi who both over-
take Caldarelli. Campana is the most
determined so he’s able to overtake
for fifth place Liberati and Zanella in
two laps. On the seventh lap it turns on
the fight for second place with Krohn
forced to manage in his wake a devil
group consisting of Chaves, Buttarel-
li and Campana that benefits from
the brawl and he is able to overcome
the Prema’s car. Behind them Zanella
is passed by Richelmi and Caldarelli,
whereas, lap after lap, Krohn gains
meters, leaving the fight for third place
open to Campana, Chaves, Buttarelli,
Richelmi and Caldarelli, all in a second
and half. Emotions continue uninterrup-
ted. In lap 15 Richelmi overtakes But-
tarelli and then Chaves also forced to
a defence race for a wing damaged
after the contact with Ramos. Only on
the penultimate lap it ends the duel en-
gaged for second place and Campana
manages to pass Krohn who, however,
