CAMPIONATO ITALIANO FORMULA 3 > 2010
GARA 1 > RACE 1
Buttarelli (4), Caldarelli (27), Mancinelli, Ramos (3),
Richelmi (11), Campana (15), Chaves, Krohn, Bizzarri,
Barri, Liberati (5), Zanella (16), Cerqui & co.
di dieci monoposto. Come quelle che
sul traguardo della gara domenicale
hanno sfilato nella scia di Chaves con
Edoardo Liberati (Prema Powerteam),
le due vetture della RP Motorsport di
Krohn e Stefano Bizzarri, Giacomo
Barri (Ombra Racing), Matt Lee (Alan
Racing), Kevin Giovesi (BVM-Target),
Alberto Cerqui (Ombra Racing), Euge-
nio Palmeri (Scuderia Victoria), Gian-
marco Raimondo (Lucidi Motors) ed
Alex Fontana (Corbetta Competizioni),
tutti incredibilmente raccolti in meno di
4 secondi alle spalle della Mygale del-
la Eurointernational. Da registrare, infi-
ne, la bella gara del canadese Nelson
Mason (Team Ghinzani) al sabato dove
chiude 13esimo rimontando 5 posizio-
ni ed il weekend nero sofferto Ronnie
Valori (BVE Racing), poi fermato dal
cedimento di un semiasse prima del via
di gara 2 e dalla RC Motorsport che
vede solo il traguardo di gara 1 con
Andrea Roda.
GARA 1 HIGHLIGHTS
Al pronti via è Buttarelli ad avere la
meglio sul poleman Caldarelli che si
accoda in seconda posizione davanti a
Mancinelli, Richelmi e Ramos. L’attacco
di Caldarelli in testa alla gara non si fa
attendere e già al secondo passaggio
alla San Donato sopravanza il compa-
gno di squadra. Alla tornata seguente
è la volta di Mancinelli che riesce così
a portarsi in seconda posizione, men-
tre Buttarelli deve ora vedersela con
Richelmi. Ramos, Chaves e Krohn se-
guono alle loro spalle più distanziati.
Al quinto giro è Ramos a provare l’at-
tacco su Richelmi che però difende il
quarto posto a denti stretti e prima di
dover controllare il ritorno del brasi-
in the RP Motorsport colours driven by
Krohn and Stefano Bizzarri, Giacomo
Barri (Ombra Racing), Matt Lee (Alan
Racing), Kevin Giovesi (BVM-Target),
Alberto Cerqui (Ombra Racing), Euge-
nio Palmeri (Scuderia Victoria), Gian-
marco Raimondo (Lucidi Motors) and
Alex Fontana (Corbetta Competitions),
all incredibly collected in less than 4
seconds behind the Mygale of Euroin-
ternational. To be recorded, in the end,
the great race of the Canadian Nelson
Mason (Team Ghinzani) who closes on
Saturday 13th catching up 5 positions,
but also the black weekend suffered
by Ronnie Valori (BVE Racing), forced
to retire before the Race 2 start for the
failure of an axle shaft and by RC Mo-
torsport which sees the finish line only in
Race 1 with Andrea Roda.
RACE 1 HIGHLIGHTS
At the start it’s Buttarelli to lead the
group followed by the poleman Cal-
darelli, Mancinelli, Richelmi and Ramos.
Caldarelli’s attack is not long in coming
and on the second transit in San Dona-
to’s curve it is successful with Buttarelli
forced to queue in second place even
if close to his teammate. In the subse-
quent lap it’s Mancinelli to overtake
Buttarelli for the second place and now
the Genova’s driver has to contend with
Richelmi. Ramos, Chaves and Krohn fol-
low behind them farther apart. In the
fifth lap Ramos try the attack on Ri-
chelmi who defends fourth place with
clenched teeth and before having to
check the return of Brazilian in the ei-
ghth passing at San Donato. The over-
taking comes, however, in the following
lap where the Monegasque has to set-
tle for fifth place ahead of Campana,
Chaves and Zanella and Krohn closely
to the eighth position. On the tenth lap
Fontana manages to get rid of Lee for
15th position, while Chaves, Zanella
and Krohn, little more distant, are also
struggling for the seventh. The pace
remains high until the chequered flag
that waves the return to the victory of
Caldarelli, ahead of the championship
leader Mancinelli and to follow are
also Buttarelli and Ramos. Behind them
Richelmi and Campana, while Chaves
is seventh.
RACE 2 HIGHLIGHTS
At the start of race 2 Richelmi is most
resolute and immediately launches the
lead from the third place of the grid.
Close to his shoulders are Campana,
Chaves, Buttarelli and the poleman Li-
berati, slipping to fifth, ahead of Ra-
